Anbei Infomationen der NGO Reto Juvenil Internacional zu Praktika und Freiwilligenarbeit:
"Volunteering with Reto Juvenil Internacional Costa Rica gives you an excellent opportunity to witness first-hand the challenges faced by rural communities in the developing world; this life changing experience will enhance your professional and personals skills, while exploring a multicultural environment.
Working with local, women groups, youth associations, community development committees, government and non-government institutions, combines the altruism of volunteer work with insight into the local communities and their way of life. It allows you to truly experience the community based society as opposed to the fast paced, individualized and stress filled western lifestyle.
Such work is a chance to understand the different social realities in the developing world, that highly contrast with your lifestyle, while contributing and making a positive impact for the less fortunate. It is an experience with mutual benefit, as it gives you a wider perspective and professional skills from which to observe the ever-evolving world around you.
We welcome you to our organization of grass root initiatives lending a hand voluntarily in transforming vulnerable livelihoods / communities to live a better life.
We are a nonprofit NGO (Non-Government Organization) that has been dedicated for 25 years to improve quality of life, in over 2563 development projects in more than 15 areas; for the underserved communities and vulnerable livelihoods, in Costa Rica, Panamá, Nicaragua, El Salvador, Honduras, Guatemala, Belize, México, Cuba, Guyana, Suriname, Jamaica, Trinidad & Tobago, Ivory Coast and Guinea Bissau.
We invite you and your organizations: schools, high schools, universities, companies and organizations to take part of this challenge for 2018, where more than 228 communities still await for support."
