Practice within the framework of the free electives

We recommend that you complete additional practical hours related to the content of Global Studies as part of the free electives. A total of 6 ECTS (150 hours) can be credited for this as a free elective.

A combination with the compulsory practice to form a continuous practice is recommended and will be credited accordingly upon application. Please note that due to the different responsibilities, two applications must also be submitted for a continuous practice (compulsory practice - coordination office, free practice - dean's office).

The practice period must be divided between compulsory and free practice in such a way that the two parts do not overlap in time. All other documents can be submitted unchanged in each case.

The application is made in the regular way using the form Application for approval of the completion of a professionally oriented/specialized (foreign) practice period. The approval of the application (and finally also the recognition of the completed practice) is carried out by the Dean of Studies.

a detailed, 1-2-page job description confirmed by the future employer (it should be clear in what way you can apply and test the knowledge you have learned in your studies!).

Submission of practice via email as part of free electives to the URBI Dean's Office.
