Good to know:
With the new doctoral admission regulations, which will come into force from the winter semester 2024/25, the subject-specific relevance of the previous studies is no longer necessarily relevant for admission; instead, certain qualitative admission requirements must be met. These can be found in the respective curricula. For example, a research outline must be drawn up and a supervision agreement concluded before admission. The decision on admission is made by the respective selection committee.
